SQUADRON INSIGNIA VMB-433's squadron insignia was the brainchild of the squadron's Materiel Officer, Captain Robert Beach. Taking Beach's vision, the insignia was then designed by VMB-433 Camouflage Officer, Lieutenant Malcolm McGuckin. Known as the Fork-Tailed Devils, VMB-433's insignia was set on a gray background, bordered in black. In the center of the insignia, a red two-tailed and winged devil sits atop a torpedo, firing a machine gun and preparing to throw an aerial bomb.
